TERRAIN PARK NEWS
Seven Springs is committed to the development and growth of our Terrain Park Program. This season, we welcome our seventh park to the mountain. Each of our parks is geared toward progression and our rail yard boasts nearly 100 features including rails, wallrides, boxes and bonks. The resort’s hard work and dedication has been nationally recognized for four consecutive years including 2012-2013 selection as #1 parks and pipe on the East Coast by the readers of TransWorld SNOWboarding.
The Olympic-sized Superpipe makes returns for the second consecutive year. Our Superpipe is one of two 22" halfpipes on the East Coast. This year, the pipe will plays host to a variety of pro-level ski and snowboard events in a spectator-friendly location.
The resort continues its commitment to the park program with the creation of our new Riglet Park in partnership with Burton Snowboards. The introductory park is designed for children ages 4-7 and features both full and half-day group lessons with certified instructors.
The Riglet Park’s overall design is reminiscent of a baseball field. Inside the park is a diverse selection of fun features including the cone zone, where kids will learn to weave in and out cones while being towed by coaches. Look for oversized bases, baseball bat jibs, a dugout chill zone, a t-ball area, a Pirate ship and a home plate fort.
