Adult Tuesday Night Ski Program

This program is for advanced beginner through expert skiers. Here is your chance to take four or six consecutive lessons from the same instructor, make new friends and save money.
   

Tuesday Women’s Program

Jan. 8, 15, 22, 29 and Feb. 5
Time: 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Price: $85 plus the cost of a lift ticket and rental equipment
 
These are group lessons are tailored for women and taught by women.  These five consecutive lessons promote safety, fun and camaraderie in a great learning environment.  Students are grouped according to ability and individual attention is stressed even though it is a group lesson. 


Nastar Lesson

An entry-level lesson for ages 7 and up.  
Available Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday


One hour   $65 ($35 addt'l person)
Two hours $110 ($45 addt'l person)

 

Playground Lesson

A Parks and Pipes program


Available to ages 8 - 16
Learn the thrill of riding and skiing our terrain parks, rated fourth in North America! Must be a level 6 or higher skier or snowboarder.

Cost: 
One day - $85
Two days - $150
Includes morning and afternoon session: 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

Direct Parallel | Instructor Training | Skill Advancement | Bump and Run | Telemark Ski | Snowboarding



DIRECT PARALLEL
This is a new class offered to never-evers, beginners, and beginning intermediates. It will introduce you to an exciting method of instruction which will enable you to learn parallel skiing in a shorter period of time.


Who will benefit from taking this course?

- Those who have never skied before. 
- Those who have not been able to move out of the wedge.
- Those who want to begin parallel skiing.
- Those who have average physical ability. 
- Those who may need a confidence booster.


INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

The Instructor Training Program is available for the intermediate to expert skier who would like to become a ski instructor and/or improve their skiing ability. The course consists of 32 hours of instruction with an on-the-snow examination that is optional. The student will be taught to instruct classes according to the American Teaching System as approved by the Professional Ski Instructors of America (PSIA).


Who should take the Instructor Training Program?

- Those who want to become a ski instructor.
- Those who want to improve their skiing ability.
- Those affiliated with ski clubs and organizations who want to enable themselves to promote interest in skiing and help club members fully enjoy their skiing experience.
- Sponsors of ski clubs.
- Those who want to gain a clearer understanding of skiing techniques.
- Those who have not skied for a period of time and wish to update their skiing ability.


SKILL ADVANCEMENT

This course is a high impact program designed to improve and broaden your skiing capabilities and skills.


Who will benefit from taking this course?

- Beginner to advance skiers who would like to improve their skiing techniques
- Those whose skiing has reached a plateau and desire to break through to a more exhilarating level of skiing.
- Those who would like to increase turning ability and ski more aggressively.
- Those who desire to learn to: ski bumps, handle all types of conditions and terrain, increase speed with control, develop rhythmic turning, and ski with confidence.


There will be several classes with this category.  Students will be grouped according to ability. 


BUMP AND RUN

This program is designed for the advanced to expert skier and will consist exclusively of racing and skiing moguls (bumps).


What type of skier should take this course?

- Those who are physically fit and an advanced skier.
- Those who want to ski race courses and moguls with finesse, strength and balance.
- Those who want to develop more power in their turns and refine their movement patterns.
- Those who want to improve their overall performance on race courses and moguls.


TELEMARK SKI
The Seven Springs Snowsports School is excited to offer Nordic instruction. This course is perfect for the first timers to develop balance and is also a great cross-over sport for those skiers who are already involved in Alpine skiing.


Who will benefit from taking this course?

- People who want to learn Telemark skiing.
- Those who are looking for something different other than Alpine skiing and Snowboarding.
- Those who want to learn about back country exploration.


SNOWBOARDING
This class is offered to students whose riding levels range from never-evers to advanced. Learn skill development and safety tactics plus instruction techniques for those who wish to become snowboard instructors.
