Pirates Charities Sporting Clays Invitational

Please join us for the Pirates Charities Invitational, where a top-notch shooting course, great food and prizes and friendly competition await you. Pirates' celebrities like Steve Blass and Bill Mazeroski will also be on hand to join in the fun!


The event will be held at the sporting clays complex and will be hosted by award-winning instructor Michael Mohr. The Lewis Scoring System will be used, which enables all shooters regardless of ability the opportunity to competitively participate in the event.


Most importantly, by participating, you will be supporting the programs and charitable efforts of the Pirates Charities. Since its inception in 2007, Pirates Charities has positively impacted the lives of thousands of youth and adults in our community.


Event Schedule
8 a.m. - 4 p.m., Fun stations and five-stand practice open
8 - 9 a.m., Registration and check-in for morning flight,
continental breakfast and clinics for first-time shooters
9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., Morning flight
11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Registration and check-in for afternoon flight,
shooting clinics for first-time shooters
12 - 1 p.m., Lunch
1:30 - 4 p.m., Afternoon Flight
4 p.m., Scoring and reception begins
5 p.m., Awards ceremony
